Top 10 Rules to Get Six Pack Abs in Record Time
This may come as a shocker but the real way to get six pack abs has nothing to do with hard core ab exercises or special ab machines. They are far from what actually works. If you want to get real rock hard abs that turn heads, then the top ten tips below will get you a really shocking yet “AHA” idea on what needs to be done:
1. Abs are made in the Kitchen. Don’t forget!
Don’t believe the TV commercials. You are what you eat! You live on Pizza, you will get fat unless your activities are as intense as Michael Phelps.
2. Think fiber, not carbs. (More veggies and fruits)
You don’t have to worry about watching what carbs you load up as long as they are high in fiber. Of course you need to be moderate but don’t fear fiber. You only fear refined and processed carbs.
3. Eat protein with every meal.
The high thermic effect of protein increases metabolism. In fact, they are also the building block of muscle.
4. Healthy fats are compulsory.
Think healthy fats. Fish oil, almonds, walnuts are all very important in your daily diet if you want to get six pack abs fast.
5. Don’t starve for longer than 3 hours.
The longer you starve, the harder it will be on your metabolism to stay put. Feed your body every 2 to 3 hours to keep that fat burning furnace running.
6. Think total body movements (Squats, Deadlifts, Chinups, Pushups)
Total body movements create the most calorie expenditure with the least number of movements. Do more of this instead of isolated movements, and you will be ripped in no time.
7. Beat your record in every workout
The only way to build more lean muscle is by progressing in every workout. Get an extra rep, do an extra set or do more in the same time or less time. Whatever you do, you need to surprise your body every time.
8. Water is a MUST!
The more water you drink, the less water you retain. The more water you drink, the better it is for your metabolism and overall fat loss progress.
9. Interval Training 3 times a day.
Interval training burns fat like crazy compared to slow boring cardio. They both are great, but interval training saves time and builds more muscle and spikes metabolism for more than 48 hours.
10. Workouts last no more than 60 minutes.
Run away from your workout as soon as you hit the 60 minute mark. I don’t workout for longer than 45 minutes. Anything beyond that time is only going to reverse what you have accomplished so far.
