Time after time, the theory still prevails that your abs are made in the kitchen. No matter how hard you exercise, the fat loss from your body still comes from eating the right food at the right time and at the right intervals.

The makers of the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program have got a lot of knowledge on the type of food and its reaction on the body, thereby designing a special software that allows you to pick a minimum of 14 different food items that you prefer to eat for a period of 11 days.

After choosing the food items, the fat loss 4 idiots program automatically generates a unique mean plan showing what food and what combinations of food you should eat in every meal of every day for exactly 11 days.

The rules are not very strict. You don’t have to count calories. You only need to eat till you are full. You do not have to exercise either.

The main technique that the fat loss 4 idiots program focuses on is what you call calorie shifting. You might notice that on some days you eat more calories from proteins, and on certain days you will eat more from carbs or fats. This variation technique puts your body on complete guessing causing it to give up and keep your metabolism elevated at all times, even while you sleep!

You may not like the diet at times because on certain days you might be able to eat protein at all! (I know I didn’t like it!)

Although this is an effective plan to lose fat really fast, the claim to lose 9lbs in 11 days is pretty unsafe. The recommended rate is 2lbs of fat per week. If you go faster, you might have excess skin hanging around which might take longer to tighten up.

The fun feature of this program is that after 11 long days of strict eating, you get a 3 days allowance where you can hog up on whatever the food you wish. Be it pizza or a Big Mac and coke. This hogging up phase is also part of the diet and will contribute to burn fat even faster when you enter the next 11 day diet.

The one thing I did NOT like about this program is that it goes against my rule on exercise. I believe weight training and interval training combined with an effective diet will give you shockingly fast results, but the Fat Loss 4 Idiots focuses on 30 minutes of slow boring aerobic training because the diet can drain energy from your body at times during Carb deprivation phases.

My personal verdict: This program is recommended for overweight individuals who have a lot of weight to lose. If you are one of these individuals and you also have a hard time trying to get results with intense exercises, then Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a very good solution.
